I’m going to try and do a daily blog post sharing my appreciation to some wonderful authors and artists I’ve come to know lately! They’re all going to be from my #WRITEboyslove family (over on Twitter) and I can’t wait for you to get to know them too!
Today’s post is all about the artist Ikeda Ken (my amazing cover and internal illustrator for my own stories). I asked them 4 questions (the same I’ve asked everyone), and here are his answers!
Tell us a bit about yourself:
Heya! I’m Ikeda Ken (artist name) from Brazil. It’s crazy to think that I’m working on Kon’s artworks for his books! Like… I’m living in the other side of the planet but I can do my drawings for his projects. That’s insane!
Now tell us about your stories:
Oh yeah, I draw since I was born (I guess?), but started to draw digital art in 2017. Here is a comparison of my artwork from 2017 and 2021.
Share an amusing event that happened to you:
I CAN’T REMEMBER ANYTHING AMUSING THAT HAPPEDNED LATELY, AAAAAAH… Yesterday a parrot shit on my head. That’s bad luck but my friends laughed at me at least. Lol.
